I have a phonak hear aid that has iCom neck loop. The rubber covering on the neck loop (which also the antenna) for the transmitter) is wearing out and needs to be replace. The factory no longer produces or has parts for this version. They do have a new version which will work with my phone, and expensive and does have good reliability report.
Can you re-cover the neck loop with new rubber? One end of the neck loop is permanently installed in the iCom and can not be extracted.
Of course the antenna should continue work after you re-cover. I can send pictures.Please advise.
