When turned on theres a lot of distortion/interference on the audio channel this is independent of the volume control-its at one level and stays that way. This started intermittently about two months ago and its now settled down to a permanent fault. I've done the Arcam trouble shooting, and their online chat help. I think its possibly a capacitor that gone down as if its left unplugged for a few days it'll work ok for about 3/4 minutes then back to the same fault, sometimes it'll shut down with a "DC 001 fault" displayed on the front panel display. I've tested it with different speakers and changed the leads and mains sockets all the same problem.
