I replaced the drive belt so the records will turn. I also got a new stylus cartridge. The issues are that:
The sound is very fuzzy and is dying in volume rapidly with time. This is with the original speakers, headphones and a modern set of speakers that I got a connection for. The radio is also fuzzy. I don't have a tape to test the tape deck, but don't care about that.
The speakers themselves possibly need their foam and cones replaced. I like the original speakers aesthetically so would like to keep them.
