Hi. I have a 1210MK2 that I was looking to get serviced. There’s nothing too major wrong with it but I’m possibly going to sell it on and I want to get it professionally serviced before I do.
The one thing I think might be an issue is that one of the phono leads out of the deck seems to be a bit dodgy it intermittently cuts out and just plays through one speaker. If it isn't the lead then maybe it could also be an issue with where the cartridge is attached to the tone arm. You’ll know yourselves though when you plug it in to test it. Also the bulb in the tracking light seems to be gone too so I wouldn’t mind getting that changed too if possible.How much would it be for a full service and tune up? If you could give me an approximate quote it would be great and then I could proceed from there.
