I have an aftermarket cable with Sennheiser terminations for my "HD660S2". The Left side does not seem to connect / seat into the left earcup fully (though it looks to connect ok) as I keep getting sound drops. So I think I need at least the left cable side re-terminated with a Sennheiser termination. (when I reverse the left / right connect to my headphones, it's definately the left termination). It works okay with the standard cable.
