Hi,
Bought these in 2014, they were Sennheiser's flagship very expensive audiophile model.
The headphones developed a fault after 6 months of use and were replaced, the fault being not charging. I have a similar fault with them now. I have replaced both batteries with the recommended type (eneloop pro). Following a charge for more than 6 hours the red led on the base station extinguishes indicating headphone fully charge-but phones turn off after only 30 minutes or less, base station charge terminals are at 9vdc. I have changed the headphone batteries using different mAh power but problem remains. The last time I checked the batteries they were both more than 1vdc when they decided to turn off. These phones used to give at least 3/4 hours use following a days charge.
One other point to mention is the aaa batteries are fitted to each phone side left and right. The batteries are inserted via a small door. One of the doors is damaged and I've opened the damaged side and fixed the wire directly to the battery base, I'm still looking for a replacement door. This was done a couple of years ago and worked very well up till recently. Would be delighted if you can help.
