The screen is not displaying anything. I think I damaged it when the laptop was in my bag and I dropped my bag on the ground.
At first, the screen started fading into a bunch of colors. When I restarted, I could see the resolution was poor (low quality, a bit pixilated), and then again the rainbow colors would come back.
The laptop works perfectly when connected to an external display.
Right now, when I turn on the laptop, it's completely black so can only use by connecting to a monitor.
If you are able to fix it, would my data be wiped out or can the files remain on the PC?
