When I push the power button the laptop will begin to turn on, then suddenly fail and go dead for a few seconds. After that passes, without me prompting it, it will again turn on and attempt to start up for about a minute or so but then inevitably goes dead and tries again to turn on like a horrible loop.
I figure it is hardware, not software, it plainly sounds quieter like something is misfiring or non-starting. I didn't drop it or spill anything on it, I've never had any big trouble with the machine save once before when I first moved to Ireland, I brought the laptop from America and 1) it's original battery utterly died and 2) the laptop once updated and got caught into a boot loop it couldnt escape from (restarting and shuting down over and over again) but it at least had the screen come on and properly work before it failed, so I cleared the static charge from it and booted it in safe mode and eventually it seemed to be fine (this was over a year ago).
My paranoia is too high of voltage or electric charge through it? It's American with a EU adapter for the jack, but almost ALL of these problems started hooked up to hand-wired sockets in rural Cavan Ireland. Thanks.
