I was working the macbook air 13inch (M1, 2020) on the bed, and put it down suddenly to look after my child. When I went back to it, it had a black space on the RHS and looked to be cracked. This was odd as didn't seem to be anything pressing against the screen when I put it down. There is no external damage to the screen at all, but there does seem to be an internal crack, as well as the big black area – neither of which go when I switch off/on. There is also a foggy distorting grey area across the bottom quarter.
