• The unit was working perfectly then my battery stopped charging & was replaced with a brand new one.
• It fired up per normal
• I charged the new battery & it fired up perfectly
• I then connected to Golf Buddy Course Manager which I had newly downloaded to ensure I had the latest version.
• It found my device & moved to next page where I selected to update courses in Ireland.
• The GBCM then confirmed that the updates had been downloaded & installed & to close down my device & remove the cable & restart my device
• Then went into this cycle of display saying “PT4 Binary updating ….. please connect USB cable for update”
• I reconnected & when unit was found I opted to update the firmware lest that had been corrupted during the successful previous download cycle.
• Went through the Ireland update again
• Alas it continued to go back to “PT4 Binary updating ….. please connect USB cable for update” after being disconnected & restarted
