Treadmill powers on. Display turns on and there is a solid red led on the mcb. However, as soon as you select any speed, you can hear the motor activating but it trips the breaker in the house. We have tested the motor by applying power using a 12v car battery and the motor turns. The incline motor works too. It seems to be the board. Visually, the board looks OK, no heat marks and the capacitors are not swollen or leaking.
On examining the wires, it looks like 2 wires coming from the motor back to the board melted together. I was able to separate these so they were not shorting. I also was able to bypass these 2 cables but the treadmill keeps tripping as soon as we select a speed.
